Sound/Music Collage + Narrative 12:55
A semi-fictional narrative set in a soundscape made using field recordings collected
during my recent trip to India and music composed based on the rhythms, pitches and
textures found within them. I wrote the text and music, performed the narration and guitar,
and mixed the recording. Salim Ahmad of Agra, India played the dholak which I recorded
during an improvised performance with him. All other sounds were recorded at various locations in India.
